Terri Deeds RN, MSN, NE-BC, C-ONQS, is a registered nurse with over 40 years of clinical experience. She joined CMQCC as a Clinical Lead in 2018. Her responsibilities include facilitating the Quality Improvement Academy, pilot Birth Equity Collaborative and serving as mentor for all California hospitals. Prior to her time at CMQCC, Terri served as the Director of Women’s and Children’s Services in Laguna Hills, CA for more than 27 years. Her tenure included active participation in the CMQCC collaboratives on maternal hemorrhage and preeclampsia and served as a mentor for the first round of the NTSV collaborative. Terri was an inaugural member of the Maternal Data Center. Terri was an original diploma nurse from St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She received her BSN and MSN with an emphasis on Nursing Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. Terri has board certifications as a Nurse Executive and Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety.
