Christa Sakowski MSN, RN, C-ONQS, C-EFM, CLE, joined CMQCC in 2017. She brings with her experience as a perinatal nurse, nursing faculty, certified nurse-midwife, and nurse education specialist. In her role as Clinical Lead, she works directly with hospital teams, mentor nurses, mentor physicians, research partners, and the entire CMQCC staff to assess and improve care delivery in the state of California. She has served as a task force co-lead and co-author of CMQCC Toolkits. Christa also engages with the rest of the country by working with state Perinatal Quality Collaboratives nationally and as the California nurse representative for the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The College of New Jersey in Ewing and her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Pennsylvania.
