Patrisha Cherry joined CMQCC as Program Manager in May 2024. Prior to joining CMQCC, Patrisha excelled as the Radiation Safety Dosimetry Coordinator within Stanford University's Dean of Research office. In this role, she spearheaded initiatives to ensure radiation safety across various domains, including campus research labs, Stanford Health Care, Stanford Tri-Valley, Veterans Affairs, and Stanford Children's Hospital.
Before transitioning to public health, Patrisha dedicated over a decade to supporting charitable causes throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. Her passion for community service drove her involvement in organizing and leading initiatives such as "One-Warm Coat," blanket distributions, sock drives, and food donation campaigns.
Driven by her commitment to fostering positive change, Patrisha is deeply engaged in advocating for marginalized groups at both the higher education and community levels. She channels her expertise in quality improvement to address issues related to housing and healthcare disparities, striving to uplift underserved communities.
Patrisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Action from Palo Alto University, laying the foundation for her holistic understanding of human behavior and social dynamics. She further honed her skills by obtaining a Master of Public Health with an interdisciplinary focus from UC Berkeley, equipping her with the knowledge and tools to tackle complex public health challenges with innovation and empathy.
