Tamar joined the CMQCC team as a Program Manager for the Maternal Data Center in October of 2021. Prior to CMQCC, she worked as a graduate research assistant with the Tufts School of Medicine, focusing primarily on qualitative research on substance use. Before pursuing a career in public health, Tamar worked in charitable gift planning for over four years. She is passionate about driving positive change at the community level and supporting marginalized groups through healthcare-focused quality improvement. Tamar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Public Health in Community Health and Maternal and Child Health from Boston University.
