Intern With Us (May-August) 

Apply now! Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. CMQCC/CPQCC's Graduate Student Internship Program offers a unique hybrid/fully remote opportunity to gain real-world experience in maternal and neonatal health, contributing to impactful projects that enhance health outcomes. 

  • Population Health Experience: Gain practical population health experience by working alongside our teams and contributing to projects that work to improve health outcomes for both birthing patients and newborns.
  • Supportive Learning Environment and Mentorship: Connect with a diverse network of professionals who are passionate about perinatal health and build relationships that will support your career growth and development.
  • Skill Development: Enhance your project management, problem-solving, quality improvement, and communication skills through involvement in perinatal health initiatives.
  • Career Paths: Our diverse team includes physicians, nurses, public health professionals, MBAs, sociologists, biostatisticians, and community engagement experts. Interns will gain valuable insights from these professionals' unique career paths, exploring opportunities in program management, quality improvement, and research, all within the maternal and newborn health field.

This internship is a part-time summer program lasting approximately 10 weeks. Start date can be flexible and hourly commitment may vary between 250-400 hours depending on the intern’s program requirements. Open to currently enrolled graduate students in a California university pursuing degrees in public health, maternal and child health, nursing, health informatics, or related fields. This is a paid program.
