Christa Walczak

Christa Walczak, MSN, RN, C-ONQS, C-EFM, CLE, joined California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) in 2017. She brings with her experience as a perinatal nurse, nursing faculty, certified nurse-midwife, and nurse education specialist to her role as Clinical Lead. She works directly with hospital teams, mentor nurses, mentor physicians, research partners, and the entire CMQCC staff to assess and improve care delivery in the state. She is a task force co-lead and co-author of CMQCC Toolkits. Christa serves as the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) California nurse representative for the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM), expert faculty for Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and as an executive committee member of National Network of Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (NNPQC).
